Making Nigerian Roads
Safer for Everyone
SecDrive was born from a simple belief: no one should board a vehicle in Nigeria without knowing who is behind the wheel. We built the infrastructure to make that possible — for free.
Our Mission
To reduce kidnapping, robbery, and missing-person incidents associated with public transportation in Nigeria by creating a verified transport ecosystem with real-time journey visibility and emergency response capabilities.
We believe safety is not a luxury — it is a right. Every passenger in Lagos, Abuja, Kano, or Port Harcourt deserves to travel with confidence, regardless of whether they are boarding a bus, keke, okada, or taxi.
What We Stand For
The principles that guide every decision we make at SecDrive.
Safety First
Every feature we build exists to protect passengers and create accountability in Nigerian transport.
Accuracy
Verification is only as good as its data. We verify every document before issuing a SecDrive badge.
Transparency
Passengers deserve to know who is driving them. We make that information instant and free.
Community
SecDrive works because drivers, passengers, and families all play a part in keeping each other safe.
Our Journey
SecDrive founded in Lagos after a passenger safety incident highlighted the gap in transport accountability.
Launched pilot in Lagos with 200 verified drivers across Keke, taxi, and bus categories.
Expanded to Abuja and Port Harcourt. Crossed 10,000 verified trips and 5,000 registered drivers.
Phase 2 rollout — live GPS tracking, SOS button, police dashboard, and WhatsApp notifications.
